Massdrop buys Geekhack
After being approached by a Canadian company to buy Geekhack for $10k, iMav offers the forum for sale to the first offer of $15k, preferring it to be kept in the hands of a community member. Zeal from ZealPC puts in an offer, but the deal falls through as a much higher offer was put in by a Chinese company. iMav tells Zeal that a number of offers greater than $40k came in and would like to pay off personal debt issues, so Zeal offers $30k.
After a couple days of rumors, it is revealed that Massdrop ended up being the party who bought Geekhack (price currently undisclosed). No immediate changes planned, but who knows what will happen in the future.
